Scott Meadstudied photography under renowned American photographers William Eggleston, Emmet Gowin and Minor White in the mid-1970s, prior to his banking career. His work has been sold at auction and to collectors in the UK and USA with all proceeds being donated to charity. In September 2010 he had a solo exhibition, "Looking Back" at Hamiltons Gallery, London. All funds from the exhibition were donated to Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity. In June 2011 two of his photographs were selected to be exhibited in the Royal Academy's Summer Exhibition.
